Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran di KB Dewi Sartika Desa Batu Mak Jage Kecamatan Tebas Kabupaten Sambas Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Berdasarkan penelitian yang penulis lakukan pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan oleh guru berdasarkan sosial masyarakat dan kondisi lingkungan tempat tinggal siswa. Siswa yang ada di KB Dewi Sartika terdiri dari suku yaitu, Melayu dan Dayak. Penanaman nilai-nilai karakter oleh guru dilakukan melalui pembelajaran yang diberikan. Artikel ini ditulis secara deskriptif dan berangkat dari penelitian kualitatif yang penulis lakukan, berdasarkan pengamatan dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada guru di KB Dewi Sartika Desa Batu Mak Jage.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, KB Dewi Sartika Abstract: This paper describers character through learning at KB Dewi Sartika Batu Mak Jage Village, Tebas district, Sambas regency, west Kalimantan province. Based on research that the authors did, character education that was instilled by the teacher was based on the community’s social and environmental condition where the students lived. Student in KB Dewi Sartika consisof tribes namely, Malay and Dayak. Planting character values vy the teacher is done through learning that is given. This article was written descriptively and departed from the qualitative research that the author did, based on the equipment and interviews carried out the teacher at KB Dewi Sartika, Batu Mak Jage Village.Keywords: Character Education, KB Dewi Sartika

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of the numbers play on the initial numeracy ability of group B in Muslimat 03 Roudlotut Tholibin Kindergarten Warukulon. The subjects of this study were 14 children. This study uses a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a pre-experimental design of the Pretest-posttest-Design One-Group design. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique is in the form of non-parametric statistics in the form of a Wilcoxon level test with data from the pretest and posttest assessment results. The results of this study were obtained at the pretest that there were 5 children with undeveloped criteria (BB), and 8 children with criteria still developing (MB), and 1children the criteria developed according to expectations (BSH). Whereas in the posttest study 3 children with criteria for excellent development (BSB), and 8 children with criteria developed according to expectations (BSH), and there were 3 children with criteria still developing (MB). The calculation result using the Wilcoxon level test obtained a value of Tcount Ttable (021) that is T more than T table. So that the decision making is HO (Zero Hypotesis) is rejected and HA (Alternative Hypotesis) is accepted because Thitung Ttable (021). So that there is an influence on the numbers game on the initial numeracy skills at the Muslimat 03 kindergarten Roudlotut Tholibin Warukulon.

Abstract

The learning process in kindergarten is still very conventional in nature. This is shown in teaching and learning activities in kindergarten Tunas Asri Benowo Surabaya, in introducing the number of teachers still using the lecture method, and memorizing. To count numbers children still write in the book given by their teacher. The research is currently doing is to improve numeracy skills in children aged 5-6 years with interesting activities for children by providing learning methods needed for children. This research method uses Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 13 students consisting of 7 boys and 6 girls. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the fingermathic method can improve numeracy skills. In the pre cycle of 69.23% which is in the criteria of Not Developing, in the first cycle the action taken through the fingermathic method increased to 53.85% in the criteria of Developing in Accordance with Expectations, and increased in the second cycle to 84.62 % on criteria according to Expectations and Very Good Developments. Based on the results of this study, it shows that an increase in numeracy skills of children aged 5-6 years with fingermathic methods

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the extent of teacher readiness in implementing the 2013 Curriculum in PAUD. This type of research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 21 teachers in Langke Rembong sub-district. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The instrument used was interview guidelines and questionnaire items in the form of open questions. In this study, researchers examined the readiness of teachers related to the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum (K'13) in terms of Curriculum Structure, Guidelines for Detection of Children Growth, Learning Guidelines, Assessment Guidelines, and Educator Guidebooks. Teacher readiness is measured by the extent of the teacher's ability to implement the 2013 Curriculum in PAUD. Based on the findings related to five things in organizing the 2013 Curriculum in PAUD, it appears that administratively PAUD teachers are ready to implement the 2013 Curriculum in PAUD. However, practically the teachers still experience difficulties. These difficulties are related to the application of a scientific approach and the implementation of authentic assessments. In learning, teachers have difficulty designing activity themes and materials that encourage children to observe, ask questions, gather information, reason, and communicate. That is why, learning is more directed at drawing and coloring activities. In doing the assessment, the teacher has difficulty compiling data on the results of the daily assessment and compiling reports on child development. This difficulty occurs because most of the teachers are high school / vocational high school and non-PAUD undergraduate students

Abstract

This research to knowing the effectiveness of natural mosaic materials (fish scales) on children's fine motor skills In Kindergarten Jabal Rahmah Padang. This type of research is quantitative method with the type of experiments or research quashi experimental by using natural mosaic (fish scales) the results of this study obtained an average value obtained from the experimental class which uses higher natural ingredients (fish scales) (82.50) compared to the control class that uses seashell mosaic (73,12). Based on the calculation the t-test was obtained that tcount is greater than t table shows that there is a significant effect on fine motor.

Abstract

: The aim of this research to determine the correlation of communication between teachers and children with discipline of group B in Sejahtera Kamal kindergarten. This type of research is quantitative correlation design. The sampling technique used nonprobability samples with the type of saturated sample of 16 samples. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Observation sheet used to measure variables discipline children at school and questionnaires used to measure the communication variables of teachers and children. Documentation use to photo of activities. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation to test the hypothesis. The results showed that no significant relationship between teacher and child communication discipline within the group B in Sejahtera Kamal kindergarten. Abstract

This quantitative-descriptive research describes knowledge level of Early Childhood Education teachers about 2013 curriculum in whole Pademawu kindergartens, Pamekasan regency. Requirement analysis tests use kolomogorov-smirnov normality test. The sample is taken by nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling, involving 73 Early Childhood Education teachers. Technique of collecting data are objective test in the form of true or false (T-F), interview, and documentation. Based on analysis, H0 is denied and Ha is accepted in hypothesis test. Based on the findings, the knowledge level about 2013 curriculum in whole Pademawu kindergarten, Pamekasan is well, 87.71%. Finding on remembering factor (C1) showed most of them were categorized well, 94.38%; understanding (C2) categorized well, 85.57%; and applying (C3) categorized well, 70.37%. It can be concluded the knowledge level of the teachers about 2013 curriculum is well.

Abstract

This study was aimed at describing development of the independence of children aged 5-6 year in  TK Dharmawanita Tunas Harapan kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The research method is used  a qualitative descriptive. Thedata  were  gained  through  conducting  interviews,  observation  and  documentation.   The  data  were  then  analyzed using interactive model of data analysis from Miles and Huberman. The data was analyzed  by using triangulation  technique through collection data, reduction,  display, and verification. From the result research showed that development of independence refers to the curiculum. The learning method used by the teacher in developing independence is the method of habituation, conversing, question answer, playing and giving assignments. But in planning it is not clerly described the development of children’s independence.
